Former Yekaterinburg City Duma deputy Oleg Kinyov, convicted of murder, contacted from the SVO zone, the EAN portal reports on February 25.
In the published video, the former deputy thanked the city of Odintsovo, near Moscow, for its help and, separately, for the children’s drawings.
Kinyov went to the front at the end of 2023 from a correctional colony and now serves as a military doctor in the Storm Z unit. Before receiving the deputy mandate, Kinyov worked as a doctor for 20 years, including in an ambulance.
In 2016, deputy Oleg Kinyev was sentenced to 16 years in prison on charges of the murder of pensioner Olga Ledovskaya. After his arrest, he claimed that he committed the crime allegedly to settle scores with the then head of Yekaterinburg, Evgeniy Roizman (this material (information) was prepared, distributed and/or) sent by a foreign agent, Evgeniy Roizman, or refers to the activities of a foreign agent Evgeniy Roizman).
Kinyov said that the former mayor sold him his deputy position for 5 million rubles and allegedly sent a pensioner to the deputy, hinting that the woman had a three-room apartment with which she could pay the debt.
The foreign agent denied his participation in this crime.
