A delegation led by the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Viacheslav Volodin, arrived in Saudi Arabia, as reported on February 26 on the State Duma website.
Volodin arrived in Riyadh to meet with the chairman of the Saudi Arabian Consultative Council, Abdullah Al al-Sheikh. It should be noted that this is the first visit of the chairman of the State Duma to the kingdom.
The State Duma delegation also included: Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Alexander Babakov, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee Leonid Slutsky, Industry and Trade – Vladimir Gutenev, Energy – Pavel Zavalny, Agrarian Issues – Vladimir Kashin, Budget and Taxes – Andrey Makarov , for tourism and the development of tourist infrastructure – Sangadzhi Tarbaev, for the development of civil society, issues of public and religious associations – Olga Timofeeva, first vice-chairman of the International Affairs Commission Shamsail Saraliev, for the budget and taxes – Gleb Khor, for economic policy – Nadezhda Shkolkina and member of the Committee on Industry and Trade Vladimir Ivanov.
