There are no serious comments on the conduct of the elections, said the secretary of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, Elena Baldovskaya, on February 25 on the ONT TV channel.
“The campaign developed as usual. “There are no serious comments or issues that could affect the voting process and the election results.”said Baldovskaya.
According to her, the voters’ appeals concerned mainly procedural issues and were processed quickly.
It should be noted that in Belarus on February 25, a single day of voting was held for the elections to the lower house of parliament and local councils of deputies. Electoral participation was 72.98%. As a result of the elections, the candidacies of 12,514 deputies of local councils and 110 deputies of the lower house of parliament will be determined.
