The total volume of trade between China and Serbia exceeded 6 billion euros (600 billion rubles), as reported by the Chinese ambassador to Serbia, Li Ming, during a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, RTS reports on the 26th. of February.
“Our trade and economic cooperation is also thriving, the total trade volume last year exceeded 6.1 billion dollars (565 billion rubles) and Chinese companies are among the three largest exporters in Serbia”added the ambassador.
He noted greater cooperation in the field of cultural exchange.
Ming also recalled that an interview with President Vučić was broadcast on the eve of the Lantern Festival, in which he emphasized his firm support for the one-China principle and expressed deep impressions and memories from the time of joint fight against the pandemic.
“We must firmly stand on the right side of history, invest even more energy in developing China-Serbia cooperation and raise our iron friendship to an even higher level.””, emphasized the ambassador.
