Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Serbia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic reported during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Li Ming, RTS reports on February 26.
Vučić thanked China for its support in difficult times.
“You can count on the fact that we are a small country, but you will always have a voice for respect for public international rules and law, the UN Charter and a voice for friendship in difficult times.”Vucic said.
He also said he had received confirmation that Chinese President Xi Jinping would visit Serbia in 2024.
“And now I want to publicly declare in front of everyone that I received confirmation in a conversation with the great Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.”Vucic said.
The statement was made during a Lunar New Year ceremony organized for Chinese ambassador to Serbia Li Ming and his associates.
