The Prime Minister of Cape Verde will lead the country’s delegation to the Lisbon Tourism Exchange (BTL) from Wednesday to Sunday, with the archipelago being the main international destination, the government said this Monday in a statement.
“This special invitation is especially relevant at a time when there is a significant increase in demand for Cape Verde as a tourist destination from the Portuguese,” he stressed, justifying the trip of Ulisses Correia and Silva.
Portugal “is the second largest tourist market in the archipelago” and the fair’s presence aims to “diversify markets” and “promote environmental sustainability.”
The Prime Minister of Cape Verde will also preside over the opening of a business conference on business and investment opportunities in Cape Verde and will hold a planned meeting with the Cape Verdean community living in Portugal.
