A blow to the heart. This was the cause of death of a woman found inside a suitcase in a residential area of Vigo, Galicia, Spain, on Thursday. Authorities are scrambling to identify the victim of the brutal crime, and the family of Isabel Lima, a 42-year-old Portuguese woman missing for nearly six months, believes the body could be that of the woman.
“I have already spoken to the PNP and they told me that they are in contact with the Spanish police, but there is still no confirmation that the body is that of my sister,” he told reporters. CM Tanya, Isabel Lima’s sister.
It is not easy to identify the victim due to the advanced state of decomposition of the body. For this reason, a laboratory in Madrid, equipped with the most modern technology, was used, but obtaining results may take some time. In the meantime, Isabel Lima’s family is in despair, not knowing what happened to the woman.
There are similarities between the corpse and Isabelle: height; shoe size; and deadlines. Everything indicates that it could be Portuguese, but only the results of the examination will provide certainty.
