The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), after the collapse of the counteroffensive, are trying to use reserves to stabilize the situation and prevent the collapse of the front, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on February 27 during a meeting of the board of directors of the Department of Defense.
“After the collapse of the counteroffensive, the military command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to use the remaining reserves to stabilize the situation and prevent the collapse of the front”Shoigu said.
In response, according to the minister, Russian troops attack enemy reserves with precision weapons, preventing them from reaching the combat contact line and thus depriving them of the opportunity to carry out counterattack actions.
Shoigu also noted that the units of the Russian Armed Forces, after capturing the enemy defense center of Avdeevka, continue to improve their positions.
Recall that on February 27, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the start of the special operation exceeded 444 thousand people.
Let us note that on February 26, Russian troops destroyed an American Abrams tank in the direction of Avdeevka. Several observers believe that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are forced to use these machines, since they no longer have any others.
