The number of new business registrations in the Krasnodar Territory in 2023 amounted to 59.6 thousand, which is 14.4% more than the previous year. This was reported by analysts of the Kontur.Focus service on February 27, RBC Krasnodar reports.
During 2023, 52.1 thousand individual entrepreneurs and 7.5 thousand legal entities were registered in the region. The number of liquidations fell by 5.6%, from 33.8 thousand for individual entrepreneurs (a decrease of 8.7%) and 9.7 thousand for legal entities (a decrease of 5.6%). As of January 1, 2024, the total number of organizations in the Krasnodar Territory reached 333.9 thousand, which is 7.2% more than in 2022.
Analysts note that companies in the Krasnodar region often choose the form of individual entrepreneurship. Thus, the maximum proportion of individual entrepreneurs falls on the production and trade of clothing (94.2%), the production and trade of children’s goods (90.8%), other commercial activities (90.1% ) and other areas.
Kontur.Focus economic security expert Anton Yakovlev noted that this trend is typical not only for southern Russia, but for the entire country. He also stressed that in the southern regions business is actively developing and the business environment there is quite comfortable.
In turn, in the Rostov region in 2024 the number of registered organizations also increased and amounted to 206 thousand, 4% more than two years ago.
Let us remember that in 2022, according to FinExpertiza, in the Southern Federal District the number of closed companies exceeded the number of open ones by 1.5 times.
