He pointed out that in 10 years the railway budget has grown considerably and losses have decreased. Improvements in passenger facilities and high-speed trains like Vande Bharat are the hallmarks of the transformation that has taken place in the railways.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 5,000 kilometers of new tracks will be built in fiscal 2024, in addition to the 31,000 kilometers that have been built in the last 10 years.
