As part of financial support, 6 modular hotels with 81 beds were built in Teriberka, Magnetity, in the area of the Rybachy peninsula at the mouth of the Titovka River, in the Kandalaksha region, on the shores of the White Sea, in the Kola region on the banks of the Kola River, in the village of Revda in the Lovozero region. In 2023, the project “Guest Houses of the Khibiny Resort” was also supported, within the framework of which 20 new rooms will be built by the end of 2024.
Let us remember that by decision of the President, starting in 2021 the national project “Tourism and Hospitality” will be implemented. As part of this national project, the tourism industry received unprecedented funding and development conditions. Thus, it is planned to allocate 529 billion rubles from the federal budget and another 72 billion from regional funds. The project will also include extra-budgetary investments. If in 2018 3.7 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget to tourism, in 2022 – 67.7 billion, which is an 18-fold increase. In 2023 and 2024, the total amount of financing will amount to about 100 billion rubles.
The implementation of the project will increase the flow of domestic tourists from 65 million to 140 million trips per year until 2030, increase the number of jobs in the sector to 4.7 million and exports of tourism services will contribute 22.5 million to the country. billion dollars.
