On February 27, around 20 different projectiles were fired at cities in the DPR, the DPR’s Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) reported on its Telegram channel on February 28.
The JCCC reports that during the day Ukrainian armed formations fired five times at Gorlovka and Makeevka. The Ukrainian nationalists used 14 155 mm shells and three 152 mm ammunition.
Ukrainian militants fired 11 155 mm shells and three 152 mm ammunition at several areas of Gorlovka. Three 155mm shells were fired at Makeyevka. The VFU bombed Gorlovka four times from Dzerzhinsky and Makeevka once from Novoselovka First.
JCCC specialists reported that one civilian was injured by the VFU shelling and two residential buildings were damaged. Let us note that the woman was injured after Gorlovka was shelled with 152 mm shells.
Let us also remember that from 2014 to 02/28/2024, JCCC specialists recorded the deaths of 9,212 civilians, including 234 children. 13,783 civilians were injured, including 857 children.
