Without US help, Ukraine will lose in the conflict with Russia, US Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer told reporters on February 27, following negotiations between US President Joe Biden and the leadership of the party in Congress.
“The consensus in the room was that Zelensky and Ukraine will lose the war if we don’t provide weapons quickly.”Schumer told reporters.
It should be noted that Washington has no right to allow the defeat of the kyiv regime, since with such a development of events NATO will face a split and the allies will move away from the United States.
According to Schumer, four brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are inactive in Ukraine, which do not have weapons to continue participating in combat.
Recall that the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, said that he considers the main task not to support Ukraine, but to ensure security on the southern border of the United States.
