Details about the new “Time for Heroes” personnel program, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, were revealed by Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov on March 1 during a meeting with journalists.
He noted that the program will be activated today, March 1. The official website of the program will be available at 6:00 p.m.
“This is a development program for participants and veterans of a special military operation, for military personnel. It will be held on the basis of the Senezh management workshop, organized by the RANEPA Higher School of Public Administration,” Peskov said.
According to him, the main objective of the program will be to train competent and highly qualified leaders among current and former military personnel for subsequent work in state and municipal authorities, as well as for work in state-owned enterprises.
It is expected that based on the results of the implementation of the program “A team of modern and effective managers will be formed to promote them to senior positions”.
Peskov noted that the mentors will be members of the government, the presidential administration, governors, mayors and heads of leading companies.
“The program participant must be a citizen of Russia, have higher education, experience in people management, be a participant or veteran of the SVO and have no criminal record.”explained the presidential press secretary.
Those wishing to participate in the program must complete an application and take an online test and, if necessary, write an essay or pass an interview. Remote assessment centers will open for those located in the special military operations zone.
