“Renato plunges a knife into Igor’s chest”: A witness said that he saw the victim being chased on the night of the holiday

This Thursday, the fourth court hearing began in the case of the death of Igor Silva.

Igor’s girlfriend is the first witness to be heard. The girl stated that Renato (son of Marco “Orelhas”) took out a knife and hit Igor.

“Renato took out a knife and hit Igor,” he said, adding that at that moment he was on the floor and received a blow to the lower back.

“I put Igor’s head on my feet. A boy was crying next to me. I saw another man, whom I don’t know, who said: it was unnecessary,” he added. The girl also showed the judges how it all happened and repeated the gesture that Renato made when she stabbed him.

He also adds that when Marco grabbed Igor, “he hit him.”

A friend of Igor Silva also testified at this hearing. He says he was with another friend who was also attacked and his wife when he saw Igor arguing with a woman (Sonia, Marco’s sister).

Igor’s friend also said that he saw him leave, and later Marco and several people ran towards Alameda.

“I followed them. Someone grabbed Igor by the legs and he fell. Marco climbed on top of Igor and I grabbed Marco from behind. Then I was attacked. I was attacked by Diogo (Sio),” he guaranteed.

“Then I just saw Igor run away on all fours, and the one who beat him also left. I didn’t see what happened then. I knew that he died right near the hospital,” he added.

At this time, Igor’s friend realized that his other friend had also been attacked by three women. “I saw a man hit him on the nose. I came to her defense and was also attacked,” he said.

Marcio Teixeira, an acquaintance of Igor, was present at the celebration and saw how the victim was persecuted. “I saw Igor running away and I followed him to see what was happening. Renato and Marco were behind him. Renato held a knife in his hand and made gestures, trying to stab Igor. He tried to run away, but at some point he fell on his back. Then Renato plunges the knife into Igor’s chest,” he said.

“Renato left there and Marco told me: he stabbed me first. I didn’t see a drop of blood, but I’m not saying it didn’t happen. (…) I went to help Igor,” he added. .

Elio Carvalho, Igor’s friend, was with the victim during the celebration and confirmed that as they were climbing up the Alameda, Marco’s group came. “Igor ran and they followed him. I saw Marco, Renato and Paulo. They wanted to hit him. Renato had something in his hand, I couldn’t see what it was,” he explained.

He explained that he lost sight of Igor, realized that several people surrounded him to beat him, and saw him already lying on the ground. “Marco was next to him and even kicked him. I also saw Paulo.” Elio made no mention of the blow in his statement to the investigation. Faced with this fact, he supported this latter version.

As at the last hearing, Iara, the daughter of Marco Gonçalves, is not in the hearing room. At the last session he gave an explanation of why he was sick.
