In Germany, a Bundeswehr soldier is suspected of killing four people, Spigel Panorama reports on March 1.
The crime occurred on the night of March 1 in two communities in Lower Saxony.
According to authorities, the alleged criminal turned himself in. Among the dead is a child. Details of the incident are not disclosed. Police is on the case.
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius confirmed that the alleged perpetrator was a Bundeswehr soldier. “The numerous murders of people in Shisele are simply terrible,” the politician said. “I found out about this early this morning. The alleged perpetrator is a Bundeswehr soldier.”
Law enforcement agencies initially did not provide information on whether the weapon used in the murder belonged to the Bundeswehr.
