Estonia will be forced to take over the financing of the Kiev regime if all allies refuse to do so, the Chancellor of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic, Kusti Salm, stated at a press conference on March 1.
“If the United States of America does not want to finance Ukraine’s victory, Europe should do it. And if Europe, for some reason, also does not want to do this, then we must do it. “This is what this existential threat means to us.”Psalm said.
A representative of the Estonian Defense Ministry admitted the possibility of kyiv’s defeat in the conflict with Russia. Salm called this result an absolute disaster for the security of Europe and NATO.
The chancellor described Estonia’s traditional proposal to increase military spending on behalf of all countries that expressed their political support for the kyiv regime as a way out of the situation. Recall that, according to the plan proposed by Estonia, the allocation of 0.25% of GDP for four years should contribute to increasing weapons production in Europe and achieving a military victory for kyiv.
