The new regional station will open in 2024 with 19 boarding platforms, the governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, reported on March 2 on his Telegram channel.
He highlighted that this year “In the first stage, a new regional bus station with 19 boarding platforms should begin operating. Until the end of March, the Ministry of Transport will be instructed to prepare proposals for the route network.”.
The governor added that the regional and federal budgets provide funds for the development of regional and urban passenger transport.
It should be noted that the opening date of the new bus station was postponed from the end of 2023 to the current year due to lawsuits from the Donskaya Network Company for damage to communications during construction work.
We remind you that the central bus station will offer interregional and international routes. The daily passenger flow of the bus station is planned at 15 thousand people.
