Ukrainian drones cover long distances across Russian territory while remaining silent, RIA Novosti quoted a Russian military officer as saying on March 3.
The commander of one of the combat drone units of the Russian troops in the special operations zone with the call sign Lego spoke about the peculiarities of the tactics of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to him, Ukrainian drones, when flying over Russian territory, are not controlled from the ground, but are controlled by satellites and therefore do not emit any radio signals.
“They are not controlled, here they indicate a point, they took off, they gave them a course, they followed the course and they are picked up by satellites, corrected by satellites”explained the Russian soldier.
Recall that, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of March 3, service air defense systems destroyed 38 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Crimea.
