In the chats of parents’ schools in Volzhsky, Volgograd region, messages with threats against the city’s schoolchildren are spread, a correspondent reported on March 3. IA Krasnaya Vesna.
Initially, a message with an image of a supposedly ready-made weapon appeared on a recently created Telegram channel, where students from school number 11 in the city of Volzhsky were added.
Very quickly, messages sent by parents threatening to shoot students on March 4 at 29 different schools in the city reached school administrations.
On the afternoon of March 3, the city’s parent chats received messages from class teachers: “We are aware of all the groups that have recently appeared on the Telegram channel, this information has been transferred to the Administration, to the police and now measures are being taken. Whether or not children attend school tomorrow depends on the parents’ decision.”.
The Telegram channel with the threats was deleted, but the parents continued to spread threatening messages through various instant messaging services.
“I have two schoolchildren, primary and secondary students at school No. 32– saying IA Krasnaya Vesna Marina M.— Parents in chats get scared and send messages from chat to chat. “The majority decided not to send their children to school on Monday.”.
Judging by the photographs published on the Telegram channel, the perpetrators of the threats do not live in the satellite city of Volgograd, but used photographs from the Internet.
