It is necessary to change the system of relations between a patient and a doctor in Russia, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told reporters on March 4.
In his opinion, Russian medicine has equipment, but there is no necessary level of communication and doctors are not trusted. As an example, he mentioned a case in which several men in the intensive care unit proudly declared that they had never seen a doctor.
“Although the two we contacted already had illnesses. And if they had attended on time and undergone a medical examination, this situation could definitely have been avoided.”Murashko said.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his speech to the Federal Assembly on February 29, stated that citizens who regularly undergo medical examinations and pass GTO standards will be entitled to a tax deduction.
