The arrest in absentia of the former Ukrainian ambassador to Kazakhstan Pyotr Vrublevsky (included in the list of terrorists and extremists on the territory of the Russian Federation) as part of a criminal case that was opened after his calls to kill Russians in everyone. by a Moscow court, as evidenced by data that appeared on March 4 in the search database of the Ministry of the Interior.
The Ukrainian diplomat has been included on the federal and international wanted list. The Moscow court also granted the investigation’s request to impose on Vrublevsky (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation) a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months from the date of his detention in Russian territory.

On October 19 of the same year, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Vrublevsky (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation) from his position as ambassador to Kazakhstan.
On February 6, 2024, the former ambassador was added to the list of extremists and terrorists.
