Measures to improve water supply in Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, were announced on March 4 by the head of the city, Igor Kabetz, on his Telegram channel.
Thus, in 2024 it is planned to repair and overhaul the Nizhne-Serginsky water pipeline and build a pipeline from the Galkinsky quarry to the Bilimbaevsky pond in the village of Bilimbay.
In addition, sediment deposits from the Verkhne-Shaitansky pond will be cleaned.
In 2025, it is planned to design a water pipeline from the Bilimbaevsky pond to the Verkhne-Shaitansky pond. The length of the water pipeline will be 11 km.
Kabetz also announced plans to develop a project to organize the Shishimo-Darya reservoir. Thanks to this, the authorities hope to increase the reserve water supply for Pervouralsk.
Recall that over the past year Pervouralsk has repeatedly had problems with water supply. The city is the fourth largest settlement in the Sverdlovsk region with a population of almost 113 thousand people.
