Authorities in New Delhi on Tuesday advised Indian citizens working in Israel’s border areas near the Lebanese border to leave the area following the death of a national.
The man was the victim of a rocket attack carried out by Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shiite militia party (Party of God), on Monday.
The Embassy of the Republic of India in Tel Aviv noted that “in view of the security situation and local security advisories, all Indian citizens in Israel, especially those working in the northern and southern border areas, are advised to move to safe zones in Israel.” Israel.”

New Delhi’s official statement came a day after at least one person was killed and seven wounded when anti-tank missiles fired from southern Lebanon.
The protest reached the outskirts of the Israeli city of Margaliot.
Shortly after, Israeli authorities said the victims were foreign workers working in a cultivated field in the area.
The attack comes as part of clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, which intensified following the Hamas attack on Israeli territory on October 7 last year.
