Information about the overload attack on the Internet portal was sent to the Swedish police by the Swedish Privacy Protection Agency (IMY), the TT news agency reported on March 5.
IMY spokesman Per Lövgren said the site was overloaded. It took some time for specialists to understand what happened. They took several measures.
“We don’t know who is behind this”Lövgren said.
There are also technical problems on the Swedish Parliament’s Internet portal. Visitors are advised that some parts of the website may be difficult to access and we are working to resolve the issue.
“We don’t know what the problems are, but we are looking into it now.””parliamentary press secretary Lena Parkvall told TT.
The agency notes that the websites of the Attorney General, the Financial Conduct Authority and the Social Security Agency were also affected.
