Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez meets with Brazilian President Lula da Silva in Brasilia on Tuesday to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and global issues such as ongoing conflicts and reforms in international institutions.
Pedro Sánchez and Lula da Silva will discuss “the serious humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the prospects for advancing a two-state solution” as well as the war in Ukraine at the Palácio do Planalto in Brasilia, Brazil’s president said.
Reform of international institutions such as expansion of the UN Security Council, one of Lula da Silva’s flags since he took office on January 1, 2023, will also be discussed at the meeting of the two leaders.
