Sofia Elena is ten years old and has been drawing for as long as she can remember. The girl’s talent has received international recognition and will be exhibited at the Louvre in Paris, France.
According to the portal G1, about a year and a half ago, Sophia started going to a painting studio and began making canvases with acrylic paint. Two works have now been selected for exhibition at one of the world’s most famous museums.
“It’s a joy because at that age very few people will exhibit in the Louvre. So it’s a privilege,” the girl said.
It was at Jacarepagua Adventist School, when she was just six years old, that Sofia developed a taste for drawing and painting.
“I remember that I really liked to draw, and I made some drawings in the middle of the lesson. The teacher approached my mother and asked if I could take the course,” recalls Sophia.
Sofia’s story is covered by some Brazilian media and is described as an “achievement” for the country.
