At the Da Luz Stadium in Lisbon, the goals for the Reds were scored by Cocciu (15 minutes), Marcos Leonardo (45+2) and Thiago Gouveia (49), who even saw Rodrigo Gomes equalize at 22, but in the end They cruised to a comfortable win and now sit second on 61 points, behind one of the Lions who have a game in hand.
While Benfica are back on track after thrashing Porto (5-0) in the previous round, Estoril Praia remains in crisis: five games without a win, a second-round defeat in a row and falling 16 1st place, maintaining the “playoffs” with 22 points, just one point above the direct relegation position.
