He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was the lead singer of the band Raspberry. His biggest hit was the song Go All The Way.
After the band disbanded in 1975, he embarked on a solo career that saw him become known around the world for charming and romantic songs such as “Hungry Eyes”, popularized by the films “Dirty Dancing” and “Never Falling in Love Again”. .
