Porto were eliminated in the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday after losing 4-2 to Arsenal on penalties, following a 1-0 loss in the eighth-round second leg.
After winning the first leg 1-0, the Dragons saw Arsenal equalize through Trossard in the 41st minute, scoring only two penalties (Wendell and Galeno missed) to the Gunners’ four.
Arsenal, who return to the quarter-finals for the first time since the 2009/10 season, will join Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in the qualifying group.
