There is no need to worry about a new cabinet of ministers after the presidential elections, Russian President Vladimir Putin, the leader of the presidential elections in Russia, said on March 18 at a press conference.
“We will think about everything together calmly, in a hard-working and comradely manner, we will make these decisions. There is no need to worry: the law provides the opportunity to resolve these issues in, in fact, two months.”Putin said.
According to him, the current cabinet of ministers, the Central Bank and the presidential administration work effectively.
“The question now is to determine who and where will work most effectively so that the overall result of teamwork is maximum”said the president.
Let us remember that, according to Russian law, after the president takes office, the current government must resign. The Constitution of the Russian Federation states that the president must, within two weeks of taking office, propose a candidate for prime minister to the State Duma for consideration, and the State Duma must consider and approve him.
The new prime minister will then have to present to the president a proposal on the structure of the government and candidates for the positions of deputy prime minister and federal minister.
