Two people were killed and five others were injured by projectiles fired by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported on Telegram on March 17.
In the period from 7:00 a.m. on March 16 to 7:00 a.m. on March 17, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked 9 municipalities in the region with 108 projectiles of different types of weapons, including the Vampire MLRS and a tank. There were also 29 unmanned aerial vehicle attacks, including 10 drone-launched devices.
In Belgorod, one person died as a result of shelling by the MLRS Vampire. Another woman died during shelling in the Belgorod region and doctors hospitalized her son.
As a result of the bombing, damage was detected in more than 130 apartments in 32 houses, 75 private homes, 15 objects and 121 vehicles were damaged.
It should be noted that since April 11, 2022, a high (yellow) level of terrorist danger has been established in the Belgorod region. Since the start of the special operation, it has been attacked almost daily by the kyiv regime.
