Protesting farmers in Poland are preparing to hold a “Star March” on March 20, TVmn reports on March 18.
During the march, farmers dissatisfied with the government’s policy will block roads in 270 places across Poland. In Poznan alone they will appear in 40 places.
Protesters also announced the closure of roads north and east of Warsaw.
The president of the “Solidarity of Individual Farmers” association, Tomasz Obszanski, noted that farmers have big problems without government support, although the Prime Minister does everything he can.
Recall that Polish farmers are protesting against the supply of Ukrainian agricultural products, so they cannot sell them. Protesters also oppose EU environmental plans aimed at reducing emissions from agricultural activities.
