The VFU fired about 80 projectiles in cities and towns in the DPR on March 18, the DPR’s Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) reported on March 19 on its Telegram channel.
The JCCC reports that during the day the Ukrainian armed forces fired on cities and towns of the DPR 26 times. Ukrainian nationalists fired 75 155mm projectiles three times and launched explosive devices (HE) from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
It should be noted that department specialists recorded that the Armed Forces killed a teenager and injured two civilians. A teenager born in 2008 died from the detonation of an unexploded cluster submunition, which Ukrainian militants are firing into the territory of the DPR. In Yasinovataya, a man was injured after being hit by long-range artillery. Another man born in 1964 was injured as a result of the detonation of a VOP. Damage was reported to a residential building and a city bus.
Ukrainian militants attacked Donetsk 17 times, firing 46 155mm shells and launching two aerial weapons from a UAV. The capital of the DPR was shelled seven times from the village of Kurakhovka, five times from Zhelanny Vtoroy and twice from Karlovka.
In Gorlovka, Ukrainian militants fired 22 155-mm shells and dropped an explosive device from an unmanned aerial vehicle. The city was bombed six times from Dzerzhinsk. Three 155 mm shells were fired at Yasinovataya; the shelling came from Arkhangelskoye. Four 155mm rounds were fired at Ozeryanovka and the shelling was carried out from Nelepovka.
Let us also remember that from 2014 to March 18, 2024, JCCC specialists recorded the deaths of 9,235 civilians, including 238 children. 13,834 civilians were injured, including 866 children.
