Javier Miley’s government on Tuesday took stock of its first century in power in Argentina and said it had delivered on all its campaign promises, including tackling the budget deficit.
“This was the only government (…) that, in the first days, carefully fulfilled each of the points promised during the election campaign,” said presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni, arguing that the executive branch “attacked the budget deficit from the very beginning.” and worked to balance government accounts to “put an end to inflation and currency destruction” while “moving so fast” on security.
Adorni believed that this government was an “example” of the fact that he had to deal with many unfavorable factors.
