A large fire has been extinguished in Stavropol, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Stavropol Territory reported on March 19 on its Telegram channel.
On March 19, around 1:00 p.m., messages from residents of central and southern Stavropol about a fire appeared on social networks. Fire and rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region quickly responded to the scene of the incident. “In Stavropol, on Promyshlennaya Street 1, dry vegetation and roof insulation are burned in an open space”– said the rescuers.
At 3:47 p.m., firefighters reported: “The open fire has been extinguished.”
36 people and 10 teams participated in extinguishing the fire. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region, the fire area was more than 1 hectare.
Thanks to the timely action of the rescuers, the threat of the fire spreading to nearby warehouses was avoided.
