The final results of the Russian presidential elections in the Stavropol Territory were published by the regional election commission, the State Radio and Television Company of the Stavropol Territory reported on March 19 on its Telegram channel.
In the Stavropol Territory, 1,604,597 people took part in the presidential elections. 84.95% of them went to the polling stations to make their choice. This turnout was the highest of all election years in the Stavropol region.
The current Russian president, Vladimir Putin, won a landslide victory in the elections: 1,420,582 residents of Stavropol voted for him, representing 88.56% of the total number of votes.
Among the three remaining candidates, the votes were distributed as follows: Leonid Slutsky – 86,107 votes, i.e. 5.37%, Nikolai Kharitonov – 63,999 votes, i.e. 3.99%, and the leader of the Party New Town, Vladislav Davankov – 24,193 votes. representing 1.51%.
