The perpetrator of the murder of Brazilian adviser Mariel Franco, Ronnie Lessa, provided information about the identity of the mastermind and the circumstances of the crime as part of a plea agreement approved by the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil.
“We know that this cooperation, which is a means of obtaining evidence, provides extremely important elements that lead us to believe that we will soon find a solution to the murder of a councilor. Lessa explained who hired him to commit the crime and why he wanted to kill Franco. He also presented the circumstances of the death and details of meetings he had with those who hired him before and after the crime, which also killed driver Anderson Gomez, the Brazilian news portal reported. G1.
