Russian troops are reinforcing their positions on the newly recaptured lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced on January 31 by the chairman of the “We are with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov.
“Our guys consolidated their successes and built a new line of defense on all lines from which the Armed Forces of Ukraine were knocked out for reconnaissance within a week”Rogov said.
He noted that enemy positions are now being processed – aviation is working, as well as Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems.
According to him, this type of weapon is superior in accuracy to the American MLRS HIMARS.
He also said that the Russian forces were firing on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in three main directions: in Gulyaipole, Orekhovo and Charivny.
Rogov recalled that in the course of offensive operations in January, the RF Armed Forces seized control of nine settlements in the Zaporozhye region, which had previously been in the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
