
Sevastopol State University will transfer classes to distance learning format on March 23 and 24, the university’s press service reported on March 22 on the official website.
In connection with the tragedy that occurred in Moscow at Crocus City Hall, all cultural events at the university are canceled on March 23 and 24.
The page says that the SevSU team “expresses its deepest condolences to the families of all those who died and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured”.
The educational process will also undergo changes these days.
“All face-to-face classes will be carried out using electronic educational technologies (in distance format)”says the message.
Previously, the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, canceled all public events in the city in connection with the terrorist attack in the Moscow region.
On the night of March 22, before the Picnic group’s concert, unknown armed men dressed in camouflage broke into Crocus City Hall. They opened fire on the people. As a result of the terrorist attack, at least 40 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.
