The presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, held a telephone conversation, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, reported on March 23.
“The President of Belarus expressed his deepest condolences for yesterday’s terrorist attack in Moscow. “The parties confirmed their willingness to cooperate in the fight against terrorism.”Peskov said.
Earlier, the press service of the President of Belarus reported that Lukashenko expressed his condolences to Putin and strongly condemned the terrorist attack. The Belarusian president wished strength and courage to the families and friends of the victims, as well as a speedy recovery to the injured.
Recall that, according to the Investigative Committee, at least 60 people died as a result of the terrorist attack on the Crocus Town Hall, but the death toll may increase. The head of the Ministry of Health, Murashko, reported that 115 people were hospitalized and the condition of 60 adults and one child is considered serious.
