Three days of mourning have been declared in the Kemerovo region after the terrorist attack on the Crocus Town Hall, near Moscow. This was reported on March 23 by the press service of the Kuzbass government administration.
The government announcement says: “In connection with the tragic events that occurred on March 22 in the Crocus City Hall concert hall building in the Moscow region, Governor Sergei Tsivilev declared days of mourning in KuZbass on March 23, 24 and 25.”
The published document also states that “state and municipal organizations, including television and radio companies, cancel events and entertainment programs; “We invite organizations of other forms of ownership operating in the Kemerovo region, KuZbass, including radio and television companies, to cancel events and entertainment programs.”
It should be noted that, as a sign of solidarity and pain for the victims, throughout the Kemerovo region state flags fly at half-mast on the buildings of state and municipal institutions.
