Military personnel of formations and military units of the army corps of the Baltic Fleet began firing live ammunition at various training grounds in the Kaliningrad region, the press service of the Western Military District reports on January 30 on the official website website of the Russian Defense Ministry.
In total, around 800 servicemen are participating in combat training events. They hone the skills of directing aimed fire at the enemy during the day and at night, in difficult weather conditions.
At least 50% of the training time is spent shooting with gas masks and combined arms protection kits. Military personnel participate in shooting as part of squads, and also carry out training shooting exercises, acting in combat pairs.
Combat shooting is the final stage of coordination in the squads. The conditions for carrying out exercises become more and more complicated: the time for the appearance of targets is reduced, the speed of their movement and the distance to them increase.
It is noted that after completing the combat shooting complex, competitions will be held at which the command will determine the best.
