The crew of the Soobrazitelny corvette successfully fired artillery at several targets at a maritime range in the Baltic Sea, the press service of the Baltic Fleet reported on March 23 on the official Internet portal.
The shooting was carried out in accordance with the fleet’s combat training plan. While going to sea, the sailors carried out a complex of artillery firing against air targets and a model of a floating mine. All designated objectives were successfully achieved.
Practical shooting was carried out from a 100mm A-190 artillery system and a 30mm AK-630 artillery system. The firing was complicated by exposure to radiation, chemical and biological hazards, water ingress, and fires in the compartments.
In addition to artillery firing, the crew of the corvette “Soobrazitelny” conducted electronic jamming exercises, and also conducted exercises to combat the ship’s survivability during navigation, navigation in narrow areas and navigation in conditions of limited visibility. In addition, the sailors carried out a series of anti-sabotage measures.
