Restoration of the Crimean recovery system will cost 9-12 billion rubles. Vasily Rogatin, Chairman of the Committee for Agrarian Policy and Rural Development of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announced this on January 31 on the Millet TV channel.
“The problem we are dealing with now is our recovery system, which has not been used for eight years and has deteriorated. We calculate all these costs– said Rogatin.
According to him, today in Crimea about 30,000 hectares of land are irrigated.
“The task is to reach 90 in the next three years, and 140 thousand hectares of land in five years”Rogatin added.
He noted the need to put the recovery system in order as soon as possible.
“We estimate that it is around 9-12 billion rubles”said the Chairman of the Committee.
He said that at the beginning of 2023, the authorities of the region had already allocated the first 760 million rubles to start work.
