The Shanghai Cooperation Organization strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk and firmly opposes terrorism in all its manifestations, SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming said on the organization’s website on Sunday, March 24.
As the Secretary General stated: “The Shanghai Cooperation Organization strongly condemns the terrorist attack committed in the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, on March 22, 2024, expresses its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the dead and injured, and regrets the numerous casualties among civilians, including children. .”.
Furthermore, on behalf of the SCO, Zhang Ming wished a speedy recovery to all those injured in the tragedy, adding that “The Shanghai Cooperation Organization firmly opposes terrorism in all its forms.”
It should be noted that, as a sign of mourning for the victims of the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall, the flags of the organization’s member states were raised at half-mast near the SCO Secretariat building in Beijing.
