The death toll as a result of the terrorist attack on the Crocus Town Hall near Moscow on March 24 has risen to 137, the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee reports.
Among the dead were three children, the department said.
Let us remember that 133 deaths were previously reported.
On the evening of March 22, before a concert at the Crocus Town Hall in the Moscow region, a terrorist attack took place. Armed people broke into the building, opened fire on people and then started a fire.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported 154 victims. In connection with this tragedy, March 24 has been declared a day of national mourning in Russia.
The terrorists tried to leave for Ukraine through the “window” prepared for them on the Ukrainian side, but failed. Four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack and other people (11 people in total) have been arrested and an investigation is underway. Law enforcement agencies are working to identify all accomplices and organizers of this crime.
