The banking system in the West is becoming fiscal, said philosopher, political scientist and leader of the “Essence of Time” movement, Sergei Kurginyan, on March 16 in the “Right to Know” program on the TVC channel.
He pointed out that in the West the principles of capitalism that until then had always been declared are no longer respected.
“Is a slow organic transformation taking place while preserving the fundamental qualities of the object? Or are we facing a colossally different object? — Sergei Kurginian asked a question.
The political scientist pointed out that the question now arises as to what type of banking system we are facing. At the same time, he noted that banks are proclaimed to remain banks, accept money and carry out some operations with it.
“But in fact, these are already tax authorities operating in a mode, if not arbitrary, then at least some kind of hidden management and control by someone and some entities that say: “This is possible, but it is not possible; This is yes, this is no.” And it has nothing to do with the fact that you own this money.” – Kurginian explained.
He recalled the seizure of accounts in Cyprus in 2013. It was then, the political scientist believes, that a situation arose in which the banks were the owners of the money, and not the depositors.
“If the sacred right to private property, good or not, was defended, that is, this cornerstone of classical bourgeois society was defended (we will not discuss whether it is good or bad, that is what it is, right?), then “The whole world would be outraged.” – Kurginian explained.
The political scientist stated that if there had been a reaction from the world community, the Cyprus government would not have decided to create such a precedent.
“No one paid attention to this. But we know that in the West they know how to pay attention to the little things when necessary. And then something fundamental happened, from the point of view of precedent: they didn’t pay attention.” – noted Kurginyan.
He noted that the possibility of confiscating Russian assets is now being discussed, which again does not comply with private property law.
“Why the hell can you arrest them? For what reason? Due to the fact that the State is following this or that policy. And when India and Pakistan started a war, should both Indian and Pakistani money be confiscated? Should we act like this in all wars? And when will the United States carry out any operations in Vietnam? – said Kurginyan.
The political scientist noted that such a selective attitude towards this right, because someone does not like the politics of the country whose money he now wants to seize, leads the world to the fact that the right to private property no longer exists. And in its absence, capitalism in its classical sense cannot exist.
