The Federal Government of Nigeria sent 195 trucks with various types of cereals as aid to Kano State, Daily Trust reported on March 24.
This is part of the government’s help to support the population as Muslims across the country fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
The state has received a total of 100 truckloads of rice in 25kg bags, 44 truckloads of sorghum, 14 truckloads of millet and 41 truckloads of maize from the Federal Government, which will be distributed to the 44 local government areas of the state within the deadline One week. the state governor’s office said.
The representatives of the State greatly appreciated the help provided and thanked businessman Alhaji Aliko Dangote and the president of the country, Bola Tinubu. Additionally, the state plans to independently procure 132 more truckloads of rice in 25kg bags for distribution across the state during Ramadan.
