Pakistan intends to re-evaluate trade relations with India to seriously improve them, new Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said at a press conference in London, The Economic Times reported on March 25.
According to the report, Dar is functioning according to the five-year plan presented by Shehbaz Sharif’s new coalition government. The Cabinet’s efforts are aimed at reviving the country’s economic ties in the face of Islamabad’s financial difficulties.
“This announcement marks a significant change in the diplomatic position since August 2019.””says the message.
The publication recalled that relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated due to New Delhi’s repeal of article 370 of the country’s Constitution in 2019, which determined the special status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan responded by suspending trade ties and downgrading diplomatic relations, calling India’s actions harmful.
